NauticAWT’s requalification services involve the strategic grouting of legs, joints and braces through the use of Ultra-High Performance Cementitious (UHPC, NaX Q140™ and NaX™ B190) grouts or the installation of UHPC grouted structural clamps.

Subsea strengthening and repair measures are developed and designed by NauticAWT’s team of experienced engineers through global and local structural in-place analysis using SACS and ABAQUS.

Increasing the structural capacity of braces and joints by injecting UHPC grouts or deploying UHPC grouted clamps and sleeves is arguably the most cost effective and technically efficient option available.

The injection of UHPC grouts, which in compression reach strengths that are similar to steel, is a swift operation with comparatively little offshore work involved. The application of UHPC grouts significantly increases the structural capacity of both tubular braces and fatigue exposed joints. NaX™ Q140 and NaX™ B190 UHPC grouts are designed and manufactured by NauticAWT and marketed under the NaX™ Premix System series.
